i-kā-bä-nə : the art of japanese flower arrangement

this piece started to take shape in late summer 2022 when I began to put something together that straddled the line between composition and improvisation. the idea was to have guideposts along a journey but to leave room for exploration. the main take for this recording was then augmented with versions of it sent through effects and lastly drum kit with and without effects added.
